The Humber Social Work Teaching Partnership is seeking to appoint a Project Development Manager to coordinate and develop an exciting new approach to social work recruitment, training, and retention in the Humber area. 
The successful candidate, working to the Project Lead, will work alongside colleagues from local social work employers, universities, and service user / carer groups to drive forward progress against the implementation plan, overseen by the DfE. The post-holder will hold a professional qualification, have knowledge of statutory social work and the government social work reform agenda, and have experience, skills, and professional authority to develop and sustain effective relationships across organisations. 
Managing a small business team, the post holder will be appointed by the Partnership but will be employed by North Lincolnshire Council who act as lead authority and the accountable body. Based chiefly in Brigg the successful candidate will need to mobile and agile, working across professional networks and physically across the Humber area in order to build and sustain operational and strategic commitment to this exciting project. 
By developing and managing systems relating to workforce development, governance, financial planning, training and evaluation, practice education, curriculum development, and admissions, the post will play an important part in helping achieve the vision of ‘Inspiring social workers, excellence in practice, delivering positive outcomes’ – making the Humber area the best place to learn and grow as a social worker. 
As a grant funded post the position is initially funded to 31 March 2018 however may be extended subject to DfE funding decisions for 2018/19. 
The post is available on a secondment basis across the partnership councils. Subject to internal agreement with your line manager. Applications from external candidates are welcomed.
