North East Lincolnshire Council’s Children’s Services are committed to achieving the best outcomes for all children, young people and families.   We have an integrated 0-19+ prevention and early help offer that is ambitious in its vision and aspiration for local children, young people and their families.   If you are someone who has a genuine commitment to achieve the best possible outcomes for every child in North East Lincolnshire then we would welcome an application.

The post holder will deliver a broad range of interventions across a number of different themes including information, advice and guidance and case allocation in:-

Strengthening families – to support the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, including individual contacts, group sessions and tailored packages of support focused on those under 5 years and their families, across the threshold of need and/or deliver interventions across the threshold of need ranging from prevention and early help through to court directed family support 6-19 years and supporting the development of pathways of intervention for children and young people with SEN(D) undertaking;

  • Evidence based parenting programmes, including FLNP and Triple P (group and 1:1)
  • Undertake assessments such as early help assessment, graded care profile, PAMs, DASH
  • Co-ordinate packages of support to families living with a number of issues such as neglect, domestic abuse, substance misuse and parental mental ill health
  • Support families whose children have additional needs or disabilities, to support the child’s development and develop parenting skills within multiple contexts

In order for you to do this well, we will provide you with a comprehensive induction and a package of on-going professional developmental support. This includes access to mentoring and/or coaching, appropriate training, regular supervision and support from a range of peers and colleagues keen to share their experience. 

2 x 37 hours and 1 x 30 hours per week respectively.
