Information, Advice & Guidance Officer
Are you a strong communicator, able to work across diverse range of education services and passionate about the best outcomes for children and young people?
We are seeking to appoint an Information, Advice and Guidance officer (term time plus 15 days) to join a newly developed Inclusion Service which includes Education Welfare Service, Looked after Children Education and Behaviour Service.
The applicant needs to have excellent communication skills, dynamic interpersonal skills and good knowledge of education. The individual will work as a key point of contact for the Inclusion Service offering information, advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders including parents, partner agencies and schools/academies.
A strong knowledge of safeguarding practice and the ability to research and communicate statutory information across a range of education areas is essential. Strong knowledge of business support systems, financial reporting and recording, and the ability to manage a diverse workload are key elements within this role.
