Community Protection & Compliance Education Officer
The Community Protection and Compliance team, part of Regulatory Services require a Community Protection Compliance Education Officer to cover maternity leave (from March 2019 to January 2020) to join the team.
Your role will be to assist in the delivery of the teams education programme, as well as provide technical support to the wider team giving advice to members of the public and other stakeholders working under the direction of a Senior Community Protection Compliance Officer.
This is 37 hours per week role with a requirement to work within an office environment and in the field in all weathers, However we will consider reduced hours and flexible working dependent on experience.
The post holder must have excellent ICT skills and be able to use social media with a view to changing behaviour around local environmental issues. In addition you must be able to deal with confrontational situations and have excellent communication skills.
